Monastic life

We would like to extend the mood of meditation to our entire life. But this is not possible because we then become useless for physical life. If a person takes the privilege of consecrating his present life entirely to meditation, i.e. leading a monastic life, then in the next life he will be all the more faced with the task of being active in practical life despite perhaps increased spiritual powers.
