Spiritual science is not just an accumulation of knowledge, not just an extension of what is taught in schools today, but can only be compared to waking up in the world, to an awakening. Other sciences — and we can keep this between ourselves — can be compared to someone who pulls their nightcap over both their ears. But anthroposophy should be a real awakening.
